1. Introduction

Welcome to the Tax Learning Center! These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, courses, and other digital offerings. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Plain-English Summary: You’re agreeing to behave respectfully, follow the rules, and not use our content for evil. If something goes sideways, we’ve got some guardrails here.

2. Platform and Accounts

We use Thinkific to host and deliver our content. When you create an account, you’re also agreeing to Thinkific’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

Heads-up: We don’t control Thinkific, but we do expect you to follow their rules, too.

3. Course Access and Subscriptions

You can purchase individual courses, course bundles, or an annual subscription. Access is provided via your Thinkific account and subject to payment terms handled through their platform.

TL;DR: You get what you pay for. No lifetime access unless we say so.

4. Continuing Education Reporting

We report CE hours to the IRS and NASBA using the information you provide (name, email, PTIN, credentials). You’re responsible for ensuring your data is accurate and current.

Summary: We help with CE reporting, but it’s on you to get your info right.

5. Intellectual Property

All course materials, downloads, and website content are the property of the Tax Learning Center LLC and are protected under U.S. intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or reuse any content without permission.

Translation: Don’t steal our stuff.

6. Educational Disclaimer

Our content is for educational purposes only and does not constitute tax, legal, or financial advice. Consult a qualified professional for advice tailored to your situation.

Real Talk: Don’t rely on our content to prepare a complex return or argue with the IRS.

7. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use our content, including any loss of CE credits, income, or professional reputation.

We reserve the right to terminate your access for violating these Terms, being abusive, or otherwise misusing the platform.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in or closest to Saint Augustine, Florida.

Translation: If we ever have to go to court, it’ll be in Florida.
